"I Am A God In The Game Why Should I Worry About Kings" – Vector's Response To Modenine And M.I Abaga


Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known by his stage name, Vector tha Viper has said that he is the God of the rap game in Nigeria“.

The rapper said this on the red carpet at the grand opening of “No Chill Lounge” in Lekki while responding to questions thrown at him by Steven Nator of Planet TV.

The Hip hop artist said this to counter the claims by Modenine, an iconic Nigerian hard core rapper and M.I a Commercial rapper in the Nigerian music industry.


Modenine, who had earlier said he is in no competition with other rappers, however claims he’s got disciples who will respond or reply any rapper who tend to dis him with there renditions.

M.I on the other hand also claims to be the best in the rap game, a statement which he has repeatedly sound aloud in his lyrics, one being: “Undisputed champion, nobody can do what I do, no body fit test me, no body fit pass me, e be like say them don jazz me”.

Vector tha viper, a metaphoric rapper who has released two studio albums, his debut album ‘State of Surprise’ (SOS) and ‘The Second Coming’ expressed anger at the claims by Modenine and M.I, saying he beat them to the record.

“I am a God in the game why should I worry about Kings, yeah! Everybody would want to claim they are the best at what they do, but I still hold the tittle of a two hours rap record” Vector said

“If we talk other achievements, ciphers, freestyles, talking freestyle will be like taking kids to the University” he added

The poetic rapper who was dressed in a white lace at the grand opening invites both Modenine and M.I to halla when they beat the record of two hours long rap.

“Let then Halla when they beat my record”
he concluded
