In Regards to the long detention of the Radio Biafra boss, Nnamdi Kanu, the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and members of the Movement for Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) have called for his release.
The call was made during a peaceful march in Onitsha, Anambara state, organised to protest Kanu’s detention. The protesters numbering up to about 4,000 claimed that Kanu’s detention is illegal, because he did not commit any offence.
According to reports, They also said the Federal Government should stop victimising their members, adding that their movement is a non-violent organisation.
The Chief Security of IPOB, Mr. Chimezie Ezeokoli, said they will continue the peaceful march, until the Radio Biafra boss is released.
