The Eleventh Fashion show has said it will feature both student designers and season designers for the first edition of the show which is to hold in November.
While unavailing the brand in Lagos, The CEO of Jt Angis Emporium, Angela O. Thomas-Jibodu said this on Friday at a press briefing, stressing that the fashion industry is about to witness Nigeria finest creative piece of art through runway.
The show is aimed at converging; Designers, Consumers, Patrons, and Media to come check out the evolving Nigerian and largely, African fashion industry at the very capital of fashion in Lagos, Nigeria.
Jibodu also appeal to government for support and call for more sponsors and partners, “We invite student designers to come showcase their creative crafts as well as season designers at the exhibition booths which will also be available for brands to showcase their services”
The CEO stated that the fashion show is an initiative that promotes creative strength and further develops the fashion industry. Away from the glamour of runway and showcase, the annual event will also re-position the industry as an essential means of commerce.
The team further told us that the benefits does not end at the stage of event, adding that designers will be promoted across the continent, and will be positioned for contracts and business for their creative growth and development.
The Eleventh Fashion show is a subsidiary of Jt Angis Emporium and is dated for Sunday 13 November, 2016. The Exhibition is scheduled for 12 noon while the runway is scheduled for 6pm, with a gala night to commemorate the success of the evening.
