Nigerian afrobeats legend, Femi Kuti promise to break the record again after he lasted for 46mins 38secs on a single note, one which is recorded as World Record last week for “the longest continuous note on a saxophone using the circular breathing method”.
However, the celebration of him being the legend was purged as premature as one Van Burchfield from the USA had played for 47 mins.
Femi, them took back his claims but left us with a promise to claim the tittle.
Well here it is, He’s done it for 51 minutes 35 seconds and 83 mili secs. Beat it! The son of the Afrobeat God, Fela Kuti has as at today become the world record holder for “the longest continuous note on a saxophone using the circular breathing method”
